Study on international study programmes in Europe awarding joint degrees

In the context of the Bologna project "Joint Degrees – a Hallmark of the European Higher Education Area" supported by the European Commission the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) was commissioned to explore the extent of implementation of double, multi-ple and joint degree programmes. As one of the means for the collection of relevant informa-tion on this issue the DAAD undertook a survey in selected countries which has signed the Bologna declaration. The study was carried out from April 2006 until August 2006 by the DAAD in cooperation with the Association for Empirical Studies (GES) in Kassel, Germany.
